About

VIPRA YUVA ABHIVARDHAN SAMAJ is an organization dedicated to Vaidika Samskruthi, Culture & Heritage. This organization has been started with the divine blessings of Their Holinesses Pujyasri Shankaracharya Swamijis of Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham to bring about awareness of our great Sanatana Dharma, Culture and Heritage among Brahmana youth.

Brahmana youth are requested to enroll and participate in these activities. This portal viprayuva.org has been set up as a channel for communication with the members of VYAS. Those desirous of contributing articles or rendering any other service may send an email to mail@viprayuva.org with details.

ACTIVITIES OF THE SAMAJ(VYAS)

  • Organising Sanskrit & Stotra Classes at various places
  • Disseminating information about the importance and the manner of celebrating our festivals

  • Conducting cultural training camps and summer camps for boys and girls
  • Creating awareness on our Dharma, Culture and Heritage through publication of literature, website and other means
  • Collection of Data for facilitating Education and Employment.

The Trust

“Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Swamimalai Veda Parayanam Trust” was founded on 10-03-2016 with the benign blessings and Divine direction of Their Holiness Jagadguru Sankaracharya Sri Sri Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal and Jagadguru Sankaracharya Sri sri Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal,.

Subrahmanya Bhujangam

Adi Shankara in His Subrahmanya Bhujaga Stotra says - O Subrahmanya of infinite bliss, may you be victorious. O Subrahmanya of immeasurable light, may you be victorious. O Subrahmanya of unlimited glory, may you be victorious. O Subramanya of blissful form, may you be victorious. O Subrahmanya who is an ocean of happiness, may you be victorious. O Subramanya who is the relative of all creatures, may you be victorious. O son of Ishvara, O the giver of mukti, may you be victorious always. A devotee who, after offering obeisance to Guha, recites with devotion this stotra composed in the bhujanga metre, will be blessed with wife and children, wealth sand longevity; and he will attain at the end union with Skanda (i.e. mukti).

Swamimalai

Sri Swaminatha Swami Temple

Sri Swaminatha Swami Temple, Swamimalai is situated on a small artificial hillock near Kumbakonam, Tanjore district. The six feet tall idol is known as Swaminatha, who is reputed to have initiated his father Siva into the power and meaning of OM the Pranava Mantra. The temple for Sri Swaminatha, the son, is on a higher pedestal than that of the father(Siva). It is one of the Six Arupadai Veedus - six places of worship to Lord Subramanya that is considered very sacred .
